Android buzz builds as launch date approachesThings are starting to get busy on the Google Android front, especially now that the HTC Dream has been outed by the FCC. Today Google made a new version of the Android SDK available, version 0.9, as well as posted its Android roadmap, which, we'll be the first to admit, doesn't offer much in terms of new information. it does state, once again, that devices will begin shipping in Q4 of this year, though. On the other hand, it seems that yet another analyst is claiming to have inside information on the Android launch with T-Mobile USA, and he hints that Exchange support might be missing from the first Android smartphones, but that they could end up having Google advertising on them as an option for reducing the purchase price. He also suggests that the first device won't be available until around Thanksgiving (which is in late November). What's most interesting, though, is the video that Engadget posted today. It shows the Google Android emulator running, which will let people get a look at the latest version of the Android user interface.
